enty 68: 'wallflower'

xsuch a pretty dress.  nice and ironed.  it's perfect for our night out.  and you pick me up in that piece of shit car, but that doesn't matter, i always liked the smell.  so, we drive down this one way street and beat all the red lights.  oh yay, it's our song... "  your arms in mine, anytime, i wouldn't trade anything..."  what a perfect song tonight.  everything... perfect.  your smile, my dress, this song...  and we pretend like we've never done this before.  the same old thing, yet everytime, you seem to amaze me.  we're the cutest couple here.  do you notice everyone looking and smiling?  they're all jealous that we are perfect... your smile, my dress, our song.  but that was so long ago.  and now this perfect night... your smile, my dress, that song... is gone, and everyone sees that we aren't perfect and our happiness was fake.  why couldn't you fake that smile a little harder?  why wouldn't that dress fit just right?  why didn't that song play forever?x
